Ibizan Hound Rescue
Ibizan Hound Rescue is a sub-society of PAWS-PATAS, Los Gallardos, Almeria. PAWS is a long established small, privately run charity which endeavours to help, treat, rehabilitate and re-home stray dogs from the province of Almeria in Southern Spain.
We have already homed a large number of Podencos in the UK where this breed is little known. Everybody who takes one of these dogs quickly falls in love with this special breed. Some dogs already have their passport for pets scheme underway and will be able to travel to the UK early next year.

The short term rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of individual sighthounds, responds to the needs of sighthounds today. Meanwhile raising awareness, educating people about sighthounds and campaigning ensures a better future for sighthounds tomorrow.
Sighthound Welfare Trust is working towards the end of abuse, neglect and exploitation suffered by sighthounds.
Delfins Dog Friendly Holidays in Kent
There are still very few holiday cottages where you are made to feel very welcome with your hounds, which is disappointing to find out once you have arrived. Even fewer allow more than 2 dogs, and most charge per pet per week. As we have 4 dogs ourselves, we understand the problems people encounter when they want to take their canine family with them on holiday. We are not only dog lovers but we run Kent Greyhound Rescue, which will be supported by some of the profits made from the cottage. How fantastic to have a holiday with your hounds, whilst helping those hounds in rescue, who have not even got a home of their own, never mind think of having a holiday.
Tailwaggers Dog Walking and Dog Home Boarding
We have been established in business as dog walkers and carers for over 15 years. Therefore, we have extensive experience of walking and looking after dogs of all types, breeds, sizes and ages.
As well as dog walking, Tailwaggers provides dog holiday care, where your dog comes to stay with us in the comfort of our home, either for a long holiday or a short break. Once here, they have the run of our house and a secure six foot fenced garden.
A percentage of all dog boarding bookings will be given to Kent Greyhound Rescue, which I help to run, thereby benefitting the many hounds in our Rescue.
London and Borders Greyhound Walks
London and Borders Greyhounds, are a local group set up in July '08 to facilitate greyhound and lurcher social walks around London and the Kent border area.
They are hoping to expand their walking area to include some of the beautiful parks & woodland on the Surrey/London border, not far from the M25 corridor round to the A3.

Bristol Dog Action Welfare Group
Bristol DAWG is the UK (Bristol) branch of the Cork Dog Action Welfare Group in Ireland.
Bristol DAWG take in greyhounds and lurchers from Cork DAWG but also help hounds from the UK. They have also worked with dog pounds around the country to save hounds that may have otherwise been put to sleep.
